Translation: Surah At-Tin (The Fig) سُورَة التين

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ ١

By the Fig and the Olive, ⁽¹⁾

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ ٢

And the Mount of Sinai, ⁽²⁾

وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ ٣

And this City of security,- ⁽³⁾

لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ ٤

We have indeed created man in the best of moulds, ⁽⁴⁾

ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ ٥

Then do We abase him (to be) the lowest of the low,- ⁽⁵⁾

إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ ٦

Except such as believe and do righteous deeds: For they shall have a reward unfailing. ⁽⁶⁾

فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ ٧

Then what can, after this, contradict thee, as to the judgment (to come)? ⁽⁷⁾

أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ ٨

Is not Allah the wisest of judges? ⁽⁸⁾
